Since taking office in 1999, President Niccolò Branca has laid the foundations for the development of the principles of the economics of awareness; a new way of thinking about and doing business, placing at the center the people who are part of Fratelli Branca Distillerie.
In this sense, the company itself is conceived as a living organism thanks to an “integrated humanism” through which each individual employee strives for harmony with themselves, others, and the environment.
It is precisely on this last point that the pillars of corporate sustainability are based. Indeed, Branca has always worked to uphold certain fundamental values such as the naturalness of its products, quality, environmental protection, and workplace safety.

In 2024 the site’s production fell by 8% (10,040 t). Energy use and emissions rose because a colder winter required more gas for heating, and because of refrigerant leaks from systems that have since been replaced.
