Founded in 1881, Bunnahabhain is the northernmost distillery on Islay, perched at the island’s northeastern tip. It is the only distillery on Islay to use pure spring water and is home to the tallest stills on the island.
Overlooking the “Sound of Islay,” a broad stretch of sea traversed by sailors, it occupies a remote and atmospheric setting—ideal for whisky distillation and maturation.
Bunnahabhain delivers a warm, complex, and exceptional expression of Islay’s character.
Light amber whisky. On the nose it evokes the sea breezes of Bunnahabhain, enriched with notes of sherry, raisins and caramel. The palate is lively, with hints of cinnamon and black pepper, honey, toasted hazelnuts and delicate saline touches.

Non-chill filtered whisky with natural color, allowing you to taste the origins of Bunnahabhain with a seductive balance of sweet fruit, nuts, vanilla and a briny note reminiscent of the coastline.

Aged in American ex-bourbon and European ex-sherry casks, it offers notes of toasted oak, pepper, plum and ginger. The tasting is complex and deep, with maritime notes, pepper, blackcurrant and dark chocolate over a base of sherry and barley malt.

This rich whisky is one of the Bunnahabhain family’s favorites. Intensely persistent, it is characterized by notes of dried fruit, sherry, toffee candies and spices that give it a flavor of honeyed hazelnut and a light hint of sea salt.

Whisky characterized by a smooth and sweet taste: sherry, caramel, berries and cream are balanced by toasted nuts, creating a delicate and structured single malt.

Four decades have passed since this exceptional whisky began maturing at the seaside distillery. It reveals a triumph of tropical fruits, berries, and creamy toffee, harmoniously balanced with sweet oak, vanilla, and toasted nuts.
